AGM 2010

Notice of the Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand (TCANZ) Annual General Meeting 2010

The TCANZ annual general meeting will be held at the James Cook Hotel, The Terrace, Wellington, at 6:00 pm on Thursday 2 September 2010, before the conference dinner on the first day of the TCANZ Conference.

Remits

Any remits for consideration at the AGM should be sent to thesecretary@tcanz.org.nz.

Nominations

Nominations are open for the following National Executive positions:

President: Maryanne Cathro resigned earlier in 2010; Steve Moss has been nominated by Peter Russell, seconded by Luke Pivac.

Vice President: Steve Moss ends a two-year term.

Roy McKone (Treasurer) and Peter Russell (Secretary) are both half way through two-year terms.

Nominations are also open for National Committee members. These may be elected at the AGM or co-opted onto the committee by the current members. Currently there are nine co-opted members, including the President Emeritus (Margery Watson) and the branch coordinators.
