Meeting report - October 2011

We really enjoyed the presentation by Lynn Peck of Central Media Ltd on design for technical communication. Lynn, who has worked on all sorts of print projects, has been a designer for many years. She took us through the principles of graphic design. Lynn talked about the challenges of presenting complex information clearly and showed us how she deals with those challenges. People had lots of questions and there was lively discussion. We came away with a better appreciation of how good design can enhance our work.
