Subscription Information

Classes of Membership

TCANZ offers three classes of membership: student, individual and corporate. All classes are entitled to the same benefits, but cater for different types of members.

Student membership is intended for full-time and part-time students of technical communication and related subjects, and the fees are structured accordingly.
Individual membership is intended for technical communicators who work on contract or are employed in full-time jobs in small to medium-sized organisations.
Corporate membership is intended for larger organisations with more than two or three technical communicators (details).

Membership Year

The TCANZ Membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June and the subscription is pro-rated in quarterly blocks as shown in the following table.

1 July - 30 September	100% of annual subscription rate.
1 October - 31 December	75% of annual subscription rate.
1 January - 31 March	50% of annual subscription rate.
1 April - 30 June	25% of annual subscription rate.

Subscriptions and Joining Fees

The "Total subscription and joining fee" shown in the following table is the amount payable when you join TCANZ at the beginning of a membership year as a Student, Individual or Corporate member. For further information, see payment Terms and Conditions.
